Adding a HTML link to product_info

I'd like to add a html link to the bottom of each product_info page, I could do this by adding the link to the product description itself but it would be much simpler to change the link later by changing only 1 file rather than a couple of thousand product descriptions.

How do I write the link and place it so that it doesn't interfere with anything?

I've thought of a solution for you.

Open your file catalog/product_info.php

Then add the new bit of code (shown below) into it.

The bolded bit of code is the NEW bit and the unbolded code is your original code as a guide (so you know where to place the new bit.)

This will make a small bordered box containing your link that will sit just above the Add To Cart box.

(It will appear on every product page)

<td align="center" class="smallText"><?php echo sprintf(TEXT_DATE_ADDED, tep_date_long($product_info['products_date_added'])); ?></td>

</tr>

<?php

}

?>

<tr>

<td><?php echo tep_draw_separator('pixel_trans.gif', '100%', '10'); ?></td>

</tr>

<tr>

<td>

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3" class="infoBox">

<tr class="infoBoxContents">

<td class="main">

<a href="http://www.YOUR LINK GOES HERE"></A>

</td>

</tr>

</table>

<?php echo tep_draw_separator('pixel_trans.gif', '100%', '10'); ?>

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="2" class="infoBox">

<tr class="infoBoxContents">

<td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2">

<tr>

<td width="10"><?php echo tep_draw_separator('pixel_trans.gif', '10', '1'); ?>
