The e-commerce.

two prices for shipping

Recommended Posts

I got two categories on my site, A and B, the first is 2$ and the second 5$.

When you buy something, you must automatically pay the more expensive.

ex : i take 20 of of category A ...........2$

if i take 20 of category A AND one of category B ........shipping cost = 5$

i wanted to make it with weight management but it doesn't seem to work....

A great developer could help me?

Gee, that's a great way to get someone to help you, isn't it?

You might consider changing your attitude a little, considering that everyone who helps out on these forums does so on a volunteer basis, and is in no way obligated to find your solutions for you. But in those instances when you need them to, remember that a grain of sugar will go much farther than the smallest drop of vinegar in endearing you to the general population. :)

Now that the sermon's over, here's a possible solution for you...

If you were to make all of the items in category 'A' have a weight of 1 and all the things in category 'B' have a weight of, say, 200 (or 500, or whatever other number you think would exceed the possibility of order quantities for category A), then you could set your shipping table so that orders with a weight of up to 499 would be charged $2. For weight of 500 and over, the charge would be $5.

The general principal should work, though you may need to manipulate the numbers in some way.
