Is there a tool to install within your oscommerce which allows you to remove and insert boxes in your left and / or right menu or does it have to be done manually solely... I only ask because this is driving me nuts.

Well in the mainpage I have on the left side the shopping cart and review boxes.

When I click on the product then the following boxes appear:

Shopping Cart, Manufacturer, Tell a Friend, Review, Product notifications...........

I want these boxes to appear on the mainpage not solely when i click the products..

the ones that appear on the other pages are probably in an IF clause - move them under the boxes in the coulmn_Left file that APPEAR on the mainpage.

Are these not product specific ?

Manufacturer, Tell a Friend, Review, Product notifications

Not sure why you would want them on the front page.

Re: product deletion - in admin goto catalog locate the product/s and choose delete.

Im sorry I mean the box that state new products for may... not the products themselves...

And you're right I really dont need those on the main page.....I must have been on crack when I thought of that... Thanks for slapping it out of me.

my problem is if I create a new box in the right column then when those appear it will look out of wack. Now if I could just remove notifications then I would be a happy camper. Because they all would line up correctly.

In answer to both questions when you want to remove a box e.g.

include(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'product_notifications.php');

Put

//include(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'product_notifications.php');

The new products(May) box should be found in index.php

Man I need to educate myself more on this. I can even say thank you enough!

But as they say its always the simpliest things that give you the hardest time.
