vara Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 A client has a site setup in California. Taxes are setup so anyone ordering in California pays 8.25% tax (I guess the clients county rate). My client was told today by her accountant that she was overcharging on the taxes. Taxes should be based on the county within California that the order was received from. Has anyone had this problem issue? Is this even correct? I could setup all the counties and their respective tax rate but how would this be calculated. Currently it uses the state and that is easy since everyone enters this value. Thanks, Vara
