bluepony Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 Just curious why the Tell-a-Friend email includes the session id in the link that it sends out? Example: Hi Jane! Your friend, Mary, thought that you would be interested in Funky Lips from RoseyPink Cosmetics. To view the product click on the link below or copy and paste the link into your web browser: http://roseypink.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=14&osCsid=99354a8b3bddf7fd68799289819d7799 Regards, RoseyPink Cosmetics http://roseypink.com/catalog What I noticed is if they click on that link, then that session id is used throughout their visit. It works just as well if I remove the session id, but first wanted to see if there was a reason it was included in the first place. I'd rather be flying!

Person who clicks link in Email will be allocated their own. Your online success is Paramount.
