movie and music database

does anybody know of a free or inexpensive alternative to thing like All Music Guide and All Media Guide. I need a one that is really simple, (pics, description, cast, director, rating, etc)

 

any help would be GREATLY apprciated

I used http://sourceforge.net/search/ and search string 'music' and got lots of hits. I'm sure there will be something there that is suitable.

 

edit: just searched for 'movie database' and got an exact match:
