Can't update store zone

I can't figure out how to update the store zone.

 

I've deleted the florida zone and added new ones but they don't appear in: Configuration > My Store > Zone.

 

Any ideas?

(1) Locations / Taxes > Tax Zones

(2) Click 'insert'

(3) Enter your info and submit

(4) Locations / Taxes > Tax Zones

(5) Click the folder icon next to the state you added

(6) Set the country and state to what you want and submit

(7) Locations / Taxes > Tax rates

(8) Click 'new tax rate'

(9) Enter your info

(10) Click 'Insert'

 

 

Done! Kind of a crazy setup and certainly not clear-cut ... but the fact that it works is all that matters in the end. :)

To Select a different Zone than the default Florida Zone: An Example (using England as new Zone).

 

In Admin:

 

1. go to Locations / Taxes

2. click on Zones

3. Click The New Zone button at the bottom of the page

4. put England as the Zones Name:

5. put En as the Zones Code:

6. select United Kingdom as the Country:

7. go to Configuration

8. click on My Store

9. select Zone from the list in My Store

10. click the Edit button on the right of Zone

11. choose England from the Drop Down Menu

12. Click the Update Button and the zone is changed instantly.
