Downloads Controller Problems

I have a few problems after I installed the Downloads Controller.

 

One.... during checkout I get this error... it does not seem to know what to do with the comments section. Error occurs when you try to confirm the order.

 

You can recreate the problem at www.shopdaystar.com/catalog/ I set up one download to test with in the Wallpaper section ... called Candy Buttons.

However the order did go through because I received an email called Order Update and in it the comments section is blank. States the order was shipped. If I click on the link to view the order, at the bottom of the invoice it says in Red....

 

NOTE: Downloads are not available until payment has been confirmed.

I never received a link or anything to actually download the zip file. How does the system know where the zip file is at? What it is called, etc?

Now orders that should be charged shipping costs are getting the Free Shipping. How do I fix that?

Can anyone help me out with this?

Hi there...

 

I also get that above error message now on a product with cost... So it is now giving shipping away for free on products it should charge and it generates that same error message above on a product with a price...the error with the comments column.

 

Any help here? I really want to use this downloads controller.

I just installed this module. Other making sure any custom mods I made stayed intact it seems to work.

I don't use shipping costs.

 

Before installing this and after installing this module I still cannot get it to link to the download. The downloads exists. Just cannot execute the download.

 

Any ideas about this? I have the files in the download directory. I checked the table products_download and they have the correct images defined. I have tested changing the default delivery status.
