Easy Populate 2.61-MS2 Categories Help

Hi folks,

 

We use Easy Populate 2.61-MS2 succesfully but I was wondering if there is support for multiple language support for categories as well as there is multiple language support for article descriptions.

 

Now when a new categorie is created automatically only a categorie description is created for the default language.

No I just reinvented this thing and rewrote it myself, accordingly to my own needs.

What a bummer, I was running into this same problem with my Dutch and English pilot webshop. There is only 1 category_description record created (for the default language) and not the required 2 records.

 

The result is that when creating the link records from categories to products, EP (v2.76b) is inserting incorrect links, and the new products do not show up in the correct categories.

 

I'm quite disappointed that after 1,5 year this incomplete behavior of EP has not yet been fixed... :(

 

Does anyone have a fix, a tip, or a snippet of code on how to get EP working with a multi-lingual shop?
