Guest Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004  Help, evertime I try to setup a new account I get a page cannot be displayed. I just don't know what I am doing wrong. Can someone please help? Thanks in advance. Ryan
Jack_mcs Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Take a look at the url displayed by the browser when this happens. What file is it trying to show? Is there anything displayed on the page or is it just white space? A link to your site might help. Guest Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Jack, thanks for the reply. I get a 404 error when trying to set up an account, here is the URL that gets displayed. https://www.sublimegolf.com/catalog/create_account.php Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. Jack_mcs Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 There are several pages that are not working. All of them, that I can see, have to do with your SSL certificate. The only thing I can think to try is to disable that temporairly and see if you can login. The rest of your site seems to work. It only fails when you switch to SSL so that would be the place to start. Guest Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 In both catalog and admin/includes/configure.php "enable ssl" set it to false if you dont have a ssl certificate The_Bear
Guest Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Thanks guys, I never thought of that. I configured the site for SSL and hadn't put the certificate on yet. I am having that done today. Hopefully that will take care of the problem. Thanks again. :)
stratusc Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 That's interesting, I have my system set for SSL as in the earlier posts, however, It lets me set up a new account and the HTTP doesn't change to HTTPS? And, I know I don't have a certificate. :(
