I am looking for a MODULE that allows customers to log into their account and OS will display a list of frequently purchased products. There also could be an admin section that would allow addition of new products ... any idea???

There are several infoboxes which are already in OSCommerce:

1. When a customer logs in they are shown an infobox listing products they purchased in the past.

2. There is a Bestsellers infobox.

3. There is a New products infobox.

4. There is a "Customers who purchased this also purchased..." type of infobox.

Besides those default ones, there are also contributions for:

Wish List

Featured Products

well its basically what they last ordered, but I have customers that order the same thing month to month so i need a something like "my products" ...

We could modify the wishlist to where the items would not leave the wishlist once they are added to the cart. ... any takers?

This is the exact behaviour of the "order_history" infobox isn't it?
I think that a buy_now button is also needed for each product in the history for the desired functionality.

I've seen similar requests previously. The idea is that with "frequent flyers" (customers who come back for the same set of products regularly), they should be able to reproduce their orders quickly. The minimum clicks theory: clicking on the product in the order history box and then clicking on Add to Cart is two clicks. A buy_now button could do it in one click for each product. A load_order_into_cart button could do it in one click per order.

Cheers,

Matt

Always back up before making changes.

I believe the order_history does have an add to cart button next to each item ?
