Final hurdle. UK Payment System Advice

Hello all and thankyou for looking.

 

Ok, I have now over a 1k+ Products. I also have a merchant account which allows me to take all cards except for electron and solo.

 

 

When processing a card throguh this machine. I requier the following information.

 

Card No:

Exp Date:

Securty No: (Located on the back of the card)

Post Code: only numbers e.g. b11 8GL would be 118.

 

Can any on recommend a good comprehensive solution to this e.g. a contribution. Take note i would like to take all cards e.g.

 

AMEX

VISA

MASTERCARD

SWITCH

etc.

I've used Worldpay in a couple of stores and the contribution for it is a way off perfect, but it works and it's easy to install and use.

 

They take all the cards you need and 4.5% of transaction. Might be different if you use a merchant account.

Sorry i should have said. I have a card machine were I have to manualy input the card information. I would like to know which contribution is the best for this task.

In that case I think one of the default (already installed) payment modules might work. I think there's one that puts half the credit card number in the admin and half on an email it sends to you..

 

If not, that must be a contribution and would work for you.

 

If it were me I'd look for one that PGP encrypts the details and emails them to me for offline processing, but I'm not aware anyone's done that yet.

Oh I should also advise that offline card processing is a bad idea since:

 

1) It doesn't give feedback to the user so they can't try another card if the first fails.

2) It can cost more than online processing.

3) Bank's don't allow (legally) processing internet transactions with a terminal.
