EasyPopulate Help

Everything seems to be installed properly. I have the EasyPopulate screen active in my admin screen. I browse and upload the edited file successfully. However, the changes don't seem to be reflected. I can see the file get sent to the temp directory successfully via ftp. I am using a Mac, but have also changed the line breaks to Unix with BBEdit as per the documentation. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Meant to add a disclaimer of my rookie status as well. :>) I have searched the forum, but cannot find the answer, and if I have created a new topic when I shouldn't have, I apologize. Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction at least. Thanks!

yes, you did create this in the wrong spot. for those who help others, it is much easier for it to be in the same thread, at the end of the thread, so kt keeps going.

 

back to your problem, what did you use to view / edit your file? post the header line and two lines of your product, or you can email your file to me.

 

you could be missing things, or have created the tab delimited file incorrectly.

Thanks for the help. I was able to figure out the problem. EP was having some troubles with the quotes I had in the product name section. I just dropped those out and all is well.

Can someone please tell me how to change the line breaks to unix? I don't understand what that means.

 

I'm on a mac and have BBedit.
