wim Posted April 25, 2004 Share Posted April 25, 2004 for reasons of compliance with our existing order-processing sytem we wish to add some fields to the account data i.e. to the address_book table. it is no problem to add extra fields directly to the tables through sql etc. and there is even a good and instructive contribution for that called 'Second Address Line' (found thanks to some nice help on this forum), but while studying the problem set the question arose whether it would be possible to just simply add the extra fields to subject tables in the Install/oscommerce.sql file and run a re-Install ? is there anybody familiar with this problem or has anybody done this before ? many thanks in advance, wim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
