How do you get the web site to recognize you?

How do I get the store to recognize me when I first enter the site? Isn't there a way where if you are, say, a registered customer named Mark, then you can go to the site and it will say "Welcome Mark", without you even having to log in?

 

I have looked at the configure.php page, and I think I have everything set correctly. Cookies are enabled, etc. and the store correctly tracks my session id, etc.

This is very bad for an ecommerce site. If anyone else were to use that computer, they could then place orders. That is why osCommerce uses session cookies. There may be a way to do it, but you probably shouldn't.
