Guest Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 I sell health supplements. I set up my category so that people can find products based on problem that they are having. However, to do this, I have to put same product in more than one categories. Do I have to enter same product in different category each time? Or is there any way that I can input product once and refer to that page?
Aalst Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 There are a couple of ways to do it. The first is to use the Categories/Products admin and select the item then select the COPY TO button on the right and then select the catagory you copy it to, and then choose if you want to just LINK the item or make a DUPLICATE item. I recommend LINKING that way you only have to make changes to the main one in the future and it updates all the links. The other was is to use the Multiple Categories per product quick entry contrib. I have not used it, but it claims to make the process easier. Good Luck... Aalst
