Bespoke Design?

Hi,

 

Just wondering what contributions / combination of contributions could be used for a bespoke design company.

 

What I want to be able to do is possibly create a custom product that only that particular customer can see and then place it in their cart, so when they login it will be there waiting for them to pay.

 

I want to have flexibilty over the product I create and make sure that nobody else can see it.

 

Has anyone used it for a similar purpose?

Not sure about the Contributions sections, but osCommerce is not really geared up for this sort of thing. I'm in the process of hiving off the 'Design, Build and Maintain' feature of my hosting companies into a seperate Web Design company, and although I'm using the barebones of osCommece for this I won't be using the shopping cart side of things. Most business customers will want a more personal relationship, and they'll want to pay by cheque, with invoicing by post, and receipts for monies paid. If someone did want to pay by credit card then I'll send them a PayPal e-mail link for that amount.
