Guest Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Hi there, My question is about file permissions and security. For example when using the file manager or certain contribs we must change the permissions on certain folders. But why not change ALL the permissions to 777 if that seems to be the easiest? Can someone please outline the security reasons why this is a no-no? Which permissions are "safe"? Thank you! :D
