Guest Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 Warning: The sessions directory does not exist: /tmp. Sessions will not work until this directory is created. This warning/error message is driving me crazy! I have the store setting to 'mysql' in both the bottom of catalog/admin/inclues/configure.php and also in catalog/inclues/configure.php Can anyone think of what I can do to get rid of this problem. Does the cache have anything to do with it? Or could it be web server related. As I have done several installations but none with success... Do I need to create a /tmp. directory anywhere in my server? :( Any help to overcome this major dilema would be greatfully appreciated... Thankyou all very much, Dave Anderson - Dave's World
AlanR Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 I think you might have made a mistake somehow. Make sure that you saved the configure files to were they should be. The 'mysq' setting fixes this problem 99% of the time Local: Mac OS X 10.5.8 - Apache 2.2/php 5.3.0/MySQL 5.4.10 • Web Servers: Linux Tools: BBEdit, Coda, Versions (Subversion), Sequel Pro (db management)
Guest Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Hi Allan, What could be wrong in the installation to create this warning/error message? I am going to setup an httpsdocs catalog to see if I have any success there. Thankyou very much, Dave Anderson - Dave's World
