awcreations Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 I would, at some point, have a little store within the website listed belowRowan's World but I have no idea what I am doing. (I can build a smashing web site but this stuff is way too complicated). The web host is globalmart and they include oscommerce with the hosting package, and so it is already there, nothing to download. But I can't figure what to do next. I've been playing with all the buttons and switches, in a visual interface called "administration" which lets me do things like add categories and descriptions, specify shipping and junk like that -- all useful eventually but 1) how do I get to this "store" from the web page and 2) how do I make is "secure" (it says in the bottom left corner that it isn't protected by a SSL conection, and I know my host offers use of shared SSL certificate). And then of course I want to know how to make it pretty (choose fonts and colors and bg image and layout etc). I'm totally confused! kj
