timvise Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 I went into a fairly new site I have setup. I noticed this error today. I installed the admin password contribution today, but didn't see this error until now. It may have been there before, but I didn't see it. When I goto the product detail pages, click on an item from the admin page, at the top in pink is " Warning: No file uploaded." The only thing I could think of that this applies to is the picture, but it shows in the detail page, and in the online catalog. Has anyone seen this before, any idea what could be causing this. Thanks in advance, Tim Vise
zzfritz Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 When you are on the product detail page and do not upload an image file (maybe you are changing something else), this warning is given. I agree it is a bit more alarming than necessary, especially since it is not specific about what file was not uploaded. But if this is appearing elsewhere, tell me more ...
timvise Posted April 22, 2004 Author Posted April 22, 2004 When I go into the admin menus, catalog, catagories/products and click an existing product the message is displayed at the top of the page. When I create a new product and upload a picture I get "The image was successfully uploaded" in green just like always, get back to the menu and click the same product I just added with the success message I see the warning at the top. The image displays in the preview there and in the item's page in the online store. I mean it seems to be working fine, just throwing that message in the preview of admin. When I copied files into the admin dir when installing the admin password contribution could I have somehow changed permissions on something that effects the code that is causing the error, but not the code that actually displays the pic? I'm at a loss.
timvise Posted April 22, 2004 Author Posted April 22, 2004 Anyone know is this is linked to the password contribution for admin?
