liao Posted April 21, 2004 Author Posted April 21, 2004 thanks the problem is that most hosts set register_global=off :-) I have added the code "php_flag register_globals On" to the file .htaccess,but it didn't work...... help!

So far the catalog and installation tool work with register globals = off and the admin tool will be fixed once the merging of catalog and admin tool have taken place. Keep an eye on the announcements forum / mailing list so that you know when this is done. I cannot get the register_globals set to on via the .htaccess file and my web host has it permanently set to off in the php.ini file so I either have to wait or find a host that has it on. If you know of any, please post here. Ta.
