different shipping weights by different co's

Is it possible to add weight to an item only if it is shipped by a certain carrier and certain method?

For example UPS uses box dimensions on larger boxes instead of the box weight.

lets say the item weighs 13Lb and UPS says that the box should weigh 20Lbs because of the boxes size.

 

What I would like to do is add the lb difference to the weight of the packae only on with the ups (all) and fedex (express methods) shipping. Sort of tell ups for all methods and fedex for only express methods that this specific item weight 20 Lbs instead of the 13Lbs that is being reported to UPS (all methods) and Fed Ex(express methods).

 

I know that there are contribs out there where you can define box size

but I dont have as standard box size and customers add other items to their orders which changes the boxes size. But lets say that if this item weighs a certain weight for the defined methods I think it would work.

 

Setting the weight higher on the product info page makes the ground shipping method for Fed Ex and USPS too high while it works for UPS.
