Different S/H methods for Different Products

Recommended Posts

I feel certain that others have encountered this problem. I am going to break this into two separate questions, so feel free to answer either or both.

1) Some items I am offering sale need to have a per item shipping rate, while others have tiered S/H rates based on either the weight or the dollar amount of the order. Is it possible to assign different methods of calculating the S/H charges based on the product being shipped?

2) If an order contains items that are already being charged a per item shipping rate, how can I exclude those items from calculations on the S/H for the remainder of the order?
