Database Import

Hello. I have successfully installed OSCommerce onto my clients' site. I started to tool around and was able to figure out how modify certain things. The one thing I would really like to accomplish today is to import the database that I have. It was given to me as an .xls file. I don't think that should be an issue, as I think I can export that as either a .dbf or a .csv file. I just have no clue how to import this database and then have it show up from my products page.
