header.php calling index.html

I am trying to load a navigation bar that is html done with dreamweaver into header.php and am curious as to what calls it and how I can have it load.

You can add the html code inside a table row in the includes/header.php file just under the logo image and it should work ok....

So what do I do, right after the image I should just paste my html code from dreamweaver into the header.php document and all should be fine?

 

Is there anything that I need to add to make the html appear say a define or some syntax statement?
