I'm a PHP-NUKER new to osCommerce and wanted to skining osC.

Any definative guides to skining this out there. If no definative guides exist -- anyone out there experinced in skining this.

If you've done it before I would love to pick your brain for 5 minutes.

What's "skining"?

Perhaps you meant skinning? ;)

Depends how extensive you want it to be. It can be as simple as changing the stylesheet to as complicated as have to plug all the php into a completely new design (which is easy for those of us that have done it a zillion times but a real pain in the butt for someone new). There's no easy way to do it and it won't happen overnight.

Have fun! :o

Simple answer (html)...

includes

- header

- footer

and every page except about 2 in the original directory and images obviously

No problems so long as you move the php info into the correct sections. The hard part (I am finding) is which page I need to modify to accept the new variables I am adding (New to mySQL...*sigh*)

Good luck

How did you get on with this?

I am *yes you've guessed it* new to skinning OSCommerce.

Which pages are the main ones required to integrate the whole thing into a completely different design, so it doesn't cover the entire browser window, and really - look more like the main site!

Cheers :)
