Guest Posted April 18, 2004 Posted April 18, 2004 This is a very simple question, what are the differences between the major versions? I have osCommerce provided by my web hosting company that is listed as 2.2-CVS. Now CVS normally means that it is the most up-to-date version with all the newest changes. However, how do I know that they have the most recent version. I have also seen many users refer to 2.2-MS2 which I understand is Milestone 2. Some of the contributions are written for MS2 according to the install file. Can I use them on the 2.2-CVS? As well, I have have some users refer to parts of the admin panel such as the "Display tax on item..." entry which I don't have. This gives me the impression thatmy version is out of date. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
