Steel Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 I just noticed this while testing my site. PayPal is adding addtional charges to the shipping price. Everything looks ok on my site, then when a customer is transferd to the paypal site, paypal includes the tax but rises the shippig price. I have tried this over and over but it keeps doing this its rounding it to an even amount for shipping around $3 over what USPS is charging. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
Steel Posted April 17, 2004 Author Posted April 17, 2004 Okay this was realy dumb but I found the problem, it was a setting on the PayPal site itself. I had set the shipping charges up on paypal a while ago when I opened my paypal account and forgot about it. Apparently, PayPal will over ride ALL shipping charges from OSC and put in the PayPal shipping charges IF your PayPal account is setup that way. If you want to use your OSC prefrences just goto the PayPal site and change your setting in there to disabled. Iif anyone else was having the same problem I hope this helped! ~Steel :D
