Setting up oscommerce in mysql

Hi all

Well I got the catalog dir copied to htdocs and then copied admin into a dir i named pandora on my computer. I did as install said andopened browser and typed in http://www.pandorasboxct.com/catalog/install/ and I got file can't be found error page. I then tried setting up the tables manually in msql. I created the database with no problem but when i type

mysql osCommerce < ./install/oscommerce.sql

i get access denied. Does anybody know what ia am doi g wrong. I searched the forums but none of the hints seem to apply Please help.

http://localhost/pandorasbox/catalog/etc....

Thanks. I tried that and still nothing. I must be missing something really simple. Since apache is acting like the server should I copy all the files from my real server to a folder named pandorasboxct inside the htdocs folder and then try to setup the table structure of the website. Please help.

Well I am a complete dumb butt. When I was trying to copy the catalog directory using the dos prompt it didn't copy everything. When I moved the folder using the windows window everything transfered and installation is up a running. Now I am trying to learn the ftp thing so that i can reset permisions. Any help would be great but I will also search and see what I can find.
