Just wanted to know if the product attributes can handle this or if easypopulate is capable of this.. so far i have found easypopulate cannot do the following..

For example

Item no. 221 White T-Shit

Size : M, L, XL , XXL

Color : Blue, Pink, Green

Not all sizes are available in each color and not all colors are available with all sizes. Plus each combination of sizes and colors may have different quantites of stock available. Also The price for Each Size M,L,XL,XXL is different, but the price for the color makes no differnece.

How would you put those kind of attributes in to oscommerce, so where as the user would have to first select the Size than based on what they select in the size field the corresponding availablity of colors would be displayed for that size, and vice versa...

So far I have not found out how to do it...

Pls Help.

No, the attributes can't handle that in the stock store. I think that's the first question I ever asked on the forums....

Anyway, have a look at something called Master Products in the contributions section. That's what I use to handle a similar problem.

give an exact listing of what size, color, price, and availibility you want to do and maybe we can come up with a code for that specific purpose. its worth a shot

LOOK AT NORDSTORM.COM ADD LOOK AT THEIR PRODUCT LISTING FOR COLOR, AND SIZE IT SHOWS A DROP down list (sorry for the caps) and depending on what the user selects in one list it will display the corresponding available for the seconlist.. although mine will also have correspoding prices for each size.

I think you'll need to get into javascript for that. I don't think html or php can handle that without reloading the page after every selection.
