ctindog Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 My osCommerce installation seems fine until I go to add or delete categories or products. It doesn't give any errors, it dust does not add or delete. Any ideas?
Guest Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 you could have a bad load of the database, you may want to reload the sql query, creating the database. have you made any changes to the software?

I also have a warning appearing at the top of my pages: Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/carcrazy/public_html/shop/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.
Guest Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 you should take a look at the documentation, it explains everything relating to the site configuration files. (they need to be set at 644). i would also use mysql connector or phpmyadmin and run the sql query for the sql database installation doing it manually. then see what you get.
