One solution: Try this.

:P

If that's not enough check the files in the admin/incudes/languages folder and look for something odd.

The only thing I can think of is that somehow you uploaded french pages into admin/includes/languages/english.

There is no default /french folder

I've taken a look, but I'm not sure if I'm checking the right files, I can't find any of the parts I'm looking for...

This is a screencap of the configuration>my shop page... just to give you a better idea... the entries are all still in English, but some of the 'labels' are in French... but not all.....

(sorry if this is against the rules at all)

Anyone got any ideas at all.... does the screencap above shed any light? I'm still at a loss here....

The pages seem fine btw

This seems pretty simple to fix.

I have no idea how you got French language files since they're not part of the standard distribution.

Understand that the language files all have the same php name whether they're english, french or esperanto.

So, they look like the same in every language folder, the s/w decides which ones to use by choosing the correct folder.

So my solution would be to rename the english folder to something like xenglish and upload a new english folder from a stock download.

I've have done this, and it has made no difference... I had checked out the existing pages and they seemed fine too..

(french was installed btw)

Is it something do to with the SQL database at all?

all the french words in yr image are coming from yr database.

maybe you ran a fench sql file with a contribution, maybe you did not dowload the zip from the .com-site, maybe yr hoster had a version that you are using.

anyway, goto yr db with PHPMyAdmin => search for the french word => change it into english
