Extra Pictures for Item

Hello,

 

I am sure there are a lot of people out there who desire multiple product pictures per item. I am one of the them. I notice there are a couple of modules that accomplish this --

 

1. Additional Pics

2, Extra Pics

3. Ultra Pics

 

Are there any others?? Which one would you recommend??

 

My requirements are pretty simple. I auction items on eBay. For each item I create a folder. The folder contains pics. The pic names are pic1a, pic1b, pic2a, pic3a, pic3b ... The number denotes the row. The letter after the column denotes the picture number. My auction template automatically places the pics in the right spot. Are pic sizes are fairly standard. We basically have four sizes -- large vertical, large horizontal, small vertical, small horizontal. The large and small sizes are sized such that only one large image can be placed per row, and two small pics per row. Ideally something similar for my store would help.

 

Also for these modules can pics be loaded thru admin, or I can ftp them manually??

I've chosen the "Extra Images" contribution.

 

Basically, you load the extra images into the includes/images, and select them manually through an extra function in admin.

 

(Note: see this thread for how I overcame a few difficulties).

 

I found it to be the most clearly documented and easiest to install of the various product image contributions I looked at.
