Guest Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 I am getting so lost in this. I manage to creat categorys, add products etc. There are some questions and things that doesn't work. 1. IMAGE: I deleted languages that I don't use. I have only English and Japanese. Japnese flag doesn't show in the right column. Is it possible to change the osCommerce logo on the top of the page? Some images that I have for products doesn't show. Do they have to be certain type of file? 2. COLUMN: How do I eliminate some things that show up in the column, such as special, reviews, what's new etc? 3. How can I change the content of the main page (wellcome page) that comes up when you go to http://my_domain.com/oscommerce/catalog/index.php? 4. Are there place to input product #? 5. After I am successful in doing this, how do I make my_domain.com point to http://my_domain.com/oscommerce/catalog/index.php?
zzfritz Posted April 17, 2004 Posted April 17, 2004 Yikes ... too many question for one posting. Next time, one question at a time gets better response. You can change the header graphic in includes/header.php. You can disable elements of the left and right columns by commenting them out in includes/column_left.php and includes/column_right.php. The text shown on the index page is defined in includes/languages/(yourlanguage)/index.php Product number can be in the field named Model Number. You can make the subdirectory address the home page by a Redirect in .htaccess at the root.
