Setting Permissions via Admin?

Hi,

 

I was just wandering if anyone could please tell me if it is possible to set permissions or to password protect files/folders via Admin in osCommerce?

As far as I know its not. The way I did it is to download an FTP program (mine was ftp leech) and change permissions that way.

 

Basically log on to the server hosting the site with the ftp prog and change the chmod settings.

 

Leech lets you do this by right clicking the directory you want to change, select "set attributes"

and a window comes up with all the write protect settings you could wish for.
