OS commerce and search Engine

Hi..

I am new to osCommerce just going to do customization. ( Also new to PHP ) but am little confused. .. I saw that osCommerce has PHPSID .. i know it is a special function used by it..

But is it search engine friendly ?

ie.. sid make url long .. very long so google does not index them.. i had searched the forum about that but as the lots of thread but no answer for me...

 

I mean can google index pages from osCommerce that a guest can view ?
