Paypal IPN URL

I just installed the Paypal_Shopping_Cart_IPN contrib. and it went well (so far). I am configuring the paypal profile settings at paypal.com and just enabled IPN but it also wants me to enter an IPN email to receive the HTML Posts. How do I know what this email address should be and do I need to configure anything in osCommerce for it or just pick any URL???

per the install doc., you don't need to put in a URL as the script takes care of it.

 

take a peek and look at the "other" 80 page thread for this contrib. lotsa of useful information as well as a nice writeup on how to test it before you go live.

I am unable to turn on IPN on paypal.com unless I enter a URL. Do I not need to enable IPN in the Paypal profile?

delete the 'http://' and then click save
