devildogmp Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 Ok..here we go! I'd like to be able to have a direct download url that will get emailed to the customer after it is placed in the download cart. The way my site is set up is subscription only, with download links in the product descriptions. When the customer chooses a picture, they can download directly from the product description by entering a url. I'd like to change that to where after a customer purchases a subscription, they can add that product to their cart, and upon completion it will email them the url they need...this way people can browse the site, yet have to subscribe to actually be able to download the product. We sell ringtones and wallpapers for cell phines, and have found this is cheapest for the customer (vs, sms messaging to their phone), and so that's why we want an email link. Another thought is downloads enabled so they can just get it to their cart and get the url. Long story short, we'd like the url to show up only after they have subscribed, and either show up in the cart, or in an email after they have placed it in the cart. 1. Customer browses site 2. Customer places itens in cart 3. Customer recieves url for that product in their cart or is emailed to them from the cart Hope it makes sense! Thanks
