ksaun Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 Although I am not new to building web pages I am new to OSCommerse. How do I change the default template for the site, to my design, but still keep all the functionality of the original template. Such as search, and all the hyperlinks. If nothing else I need to know how to get rid of the OSCommerce Banner at the top of the pages and Add My Logo. In other words I want to give my site a face lift. There has to be a default template for OSCommerce. Otherwise the pages would not look the same, right? If there is a template what is the best way to change it or do I simply create a look in dreamweaver or frontpage and overwrite the existing template? Any Help would be greatly appreciated. bluepony Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 The banner is stored in includes/header.php. Just replace the "oscommerce.gif" with your own. To make basic changes to colors and fonts those are in the stylesheet. To make extensive changes to the layout, you can either manually do it in the php code or install a template contribution: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions I'd rather be flying!
