Always displaying prices without tax

Hi i installed the actual oscommerce webshop.

 

i entered the prices correctly netto and brutto.

and switched to display with tax in the admin config menu.

 

but it does still display the prices without tax in the catalog

 

who can help me?

 

i searched for this problem in the board. and i found something about

 

define('DISPLAY_PRICE_WITH_TAX', false); // Display prices with tax (true) or without tax (false)

to be in the application_top.php

but there is no such an entry!

 

So i wrote here in temporary confusion :blink:

Didn't test this myself, but are you logged in when you are trying?

I'd imagine if you are a guest with no account and no zone to say where you are located at, it won't display tax with the prices. But if you are logged in and in the tax zone, it'll display the prices with tax.

 

Sounds logical, right?

i found the problem.

 

i had a wrong country in the tax list.

i changed it an now it works
