SQL file does not exist!!

Hi

 

When I want to install osCommerce I always get this Error Message:

 

New Installation

 

Database Import

 

The following error has occurred:

 

SQL file does not exist: /install/oscommerce.sql

 

But I am sure that it exists at this place. Can someone help me please?

It's probably looking at c:/install/oscommerce.sql and you need it to look in the install subdirectory of your catalog directory.

 

I always just used phpMyAdmin or other MySQL program to upload the database on MS Windows. Then manually set the configure.php settings (the same bug shows in them). jpf posted more about this a while ago if you want to use advanced (More Options) search to look under his old posts.
