Invoice or order numbering appears stuck on 10

Hi - I have recently started my shop and everything is working out according to the plan. However, the invoice numbering or order ID was increasing properly but has stuck on 10 for the past three orders - I am assuming that a setting is wrong but I am able to find it. I have search through this forum and can find nothing that seems to pinpoint the problem - can anyone help?

a few ideas, check your server logs for any errors, also in the catalog/admin turn on sql logging, and then run an order through, see where the program is going versus where you think it is going

Make sure the field in the table for order numbers is still set to auto-increment.

Wow - Thank you both for the quick response - you must have had fingers poised on the keyboard as I hit return.

 

Anyway, problem solved - I checked my settings that were okay, but decided to redo them and save. That seems to have kicked started it again and my testing proved okay.
