detriMENtal Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 I have managed to find the contribution to allow visitors to enter the checkout, without signing up to the store, however what i was wondering, is if there has been a contribution, or if it is possible, to provide different prices for products, for visitors and members. Visitor wants to buy an apple, they pay $2.00, but if a member thats registered wants to buy an apple, they pay $1.50. Gives an incentive to signing up. can this be done? thanks in advance

Or maybe you want the gift voucher contrib, you can send new members a gift voucher for 10% off their first purchase or something... Thats called CCGV its 5.10b or something, but its truly an all encompassing solution for discount vouchers and gift certificates... 9 times out of 10 its a PEBCAK Error (Problem exists between chair and keyboard) Replace that and you're fine...
detriMENtal Posted April 15, 2004 Author Posted April 15, 2004 nah ive seen those they arent exactly what i want. the group discount thing is close, where you select customers into different groups which determines their discount, but i need a contribution that has a complete set of prices for all the products for anyone viewing the store, then when someone logs in as a member, all the prices have 10% taken off or something. And you can change that discount percentage. If the person that logs in is staff or the owner, then they get more discount.
Guest Posted April 26, 2004 Posted April 26, 2004 I think if you apply the cg discount groups contrib and make the mod to show prices to visitors it may be do what you are looking for. I have the discount contrib installed but not the pruchase without account mod.

Make sure before you install this gift voucher contribution you are running 2.2MS2 of the cart. It will not work with an older version. I have tried it.
