installation problem

First I installed osCommerce in local under WIN2K & EASYPHP, it worked fine. I played around with the demo site and its admin. I was really HAPPY of the result.

Then willing to be smarter, I moved "admin" & "install" folders to the root of the site at the same level as "catalog". Admin was not working anymore, I reran "install" ... it became a mess

I tried to manually update both "CONFIGUE.PHP" files with no success

Finally I decided to clean everything and REINSTALL (including EASYPHP and MYSQL bases) No Change

When I reinstall the site, I go up to the end of the osCommerce base loading, then I get the buttons: CATALOG & ADMIN. If I clic any of them, the page is not found.

I try to reach the catalog with an alias in EasyPHP, then I get the TEXT, but no presentation neither images. Looking to Apache log, it sounds like EasyPHP is not using anymore the right path given by its alias to load the required files. This explains the wrong page presentation. But WHY ? other that that I can run another PHP site with an alias in EasyPHP w/o pb ??

When I go to the admin page, I get the main page, but no other links are working on the page.

Both CONFIGURE.PHP files look ok ?? as far as I can see..

What to do to CLEAN the installation and RESTART from scratch ?

Is there any hidden file or base, retaining some wrong path information ??

Iam becoming crazy, because it worked fine at the beginning and I just screwed up everything, by these folder moves. (BTW: which I put back to their initial place)

Anyone could help me to UNDERSTAND what's wrong ?

Jean-Michel (I am a frenchy guy sorry about my english)
