I was uploading a htaccess Help!!

I tried ftp'ing a htaccess code and it might be in my catalol directory but I just sent the files .htaccess and .htpasswd They don't apear in the directory or are hidden.

 

I also ftp'ed it in the admin and I sent htaccess code there; next thing I found is my website catalog store is not showing up at all just the error geeeeeeee im lost. how can I get the hidden file out of the catalog? and fix the errors???

 

any help on this dumb move

So you can't see them with your ftp program?

no they are hidden when you transfer them over have no idea why but thats the only thing I was trying to fix at the time and it messed everything up
