Credit payment

I was just wondering what you thought was the best or most reliable trouble free payment methodology. I would like to accept credit card payment on my site and I'm not sure which module to install or use. Also where can you find info on them?

depends if you have any of those accounts or not! I would suggest worldpay, but be prepared to shell out $$ for that. I personally think paypal is rubish.

It really depends upon how much business you (reasonably) believe you will do in the first year. It's unlikely that you'll do lots of business, so full credit card processing via your bank will probably be too expensive, likewise someone like WorldPay will also be fairly expensive. To start off with I'd recommend Check/Mondey Order, PayPal, and NoChex (but NoChex only works in UK Pounds Sterling, and only for debit cards). Hope this helps - Vger

PayPal is undoubtedly not the best solution in the long term, but for a start-up it's a decent option. Especially now as (in the USA at least) your customers no longer have to register with PayPal before they can pay you your money. Vger
