Mslibra38 Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 I have checked the forum but can not find the page I need to go to in order to remove the .gifs I have removed from the catalog page. This is my page I need to remove these broken Images I don't want them on the page. http://htmlplace.com/applewood/catalog/ Thanks for any help you can give me. Mslibra38 :)
Guest Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 if you right click on the image in question, it shows you the path of the file. the other thing i would do right away, is to change the properties of the configure.php files. they need to be set at 644
Mslibra38 Posted April 13, 2004 Author Posted April 13, 2004 I have done that I removed it from http://htmlplace.com/applewood/catalog/ima...corner_left.gif But now I have a broken image there so I need to know in the scripting where it is at to remove it from there so I don't have the broken image. Where do you go to edit the main catalog page. I have edited the colors in the stylesheet.css but I don not see any .gifs in there.
Mslibra38 Posted April 13, 2004 Author Posted April 13, 2004 Also I will change the permissions in the configure.php files. later I know I have to do that before I put the page up to view on the web.
Guest Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 the easiest thing to do is search for a program named windows grep, which will allow you to search for text/etc through out your whole system. this way, whatever file name or group of text you are searching for on the system will be found.
