extra charge for residential delivery...help?

hi..i am selling lawn mowers on my store. fedex charges 50 dollasr for residential delivery and no extra charge for commercial delivery.

in my old site i had 2 radio buttons. if cust chose res. it increased the total by 50.

please help. i m new in php...no clue how to do it.

you fail to explain what you actually use now :(

 

possibility:

copy item.php, change the name and the details for the 2nd type of customer

a $50.00 charge for residential delivery? i dont know of too many who will buy lawnmowers for an extra fee of $50.00 . . .

 

in the fedex module there are settings which you can make for your charges

hi that charge is by fedex it self. cant help it. i m giving free shipping on all products anyways.....

now i am using authorize.net. and i am not planning to use shipping module from fedex. because i dont need real time quotes. (btw, do u know if i can add a text box for overnight shipping and 2nd day air, i want to put all that info manually while adding a product) i want to put the shipping rates manually as we have diff rates delaing with fedex.

using the fedex module is easy. now, the thing to think of, if you leave it up to the customers whether residential or commercial, if they see possibly they will save $50 by choosing commercial, what is to prevent them from doing that? fedex will usually charge back things like that to your account.

i will the use fedex. which module should i use. is there any new one in contributions. but just one thing, i wont need fedex rates. i want to enter my own fo reach product. any idea...
