error in Calculation of Vat. ?!?

Hi there! I now installed the OSCommerce (MS2) and configured it so far, but when I made a few trial buys, there seemed to be a fault in the calculation of the vat. :unsure:

I checked the sum, the must be an fault on the rounding...it seems to calculate this:

(price of single article + vat. of single article) * number of articles = sum

but I need to calculate like this: (price of single article * number of articles) +vat. of ALL articles = sum.

actually there're always a surplus or deficit of only some cents. and it also seems that it rounds down - not up - when the 3rd decimal is a 5 (like this: 1.125 = 1.12, i need it like this: 1.125 = 1.13

Can you tell me a way to change it or where i can find my fault?
